Elena and Michael’s wedding reception was held in Buck’s County at The Lake House Inn in Perkasie, Pennsylvania – a gorgeous lakeside estate, where the Piperno and Hughes families and bridal party came together in celebration for the weekend – the two day celebration with the people who are most important to this very special bride and groom.
Our couple wanted their wedding to reflect their love for one another and coming together of their two amazing families. In keeping with the theme of their love for one another and family love, in a Catholic ceremony, the Ave Maria was played during Communion and presentation of flowers to the Blessed Mother. Elena and Michael also honored their mothers with flowers during the Sign of Peace.
At their reception, generations of family members were remembered with a display of their wedding photos. “We wanted to pay tribute to all the great loves that came before us and are symbols of long and happy marriages,” said Elena. The one thing that they wanted their guests to remember was the fun that everyone shared and feeling they were a big part of the celebration and extended family.
The family and guests shared laughter and stories and danced together all night long. A beautiful and memorable night remembered by all!
