Skylar and Tim met 14 years ago as they were moving into their dorm rooms at Tyler School of Art. Little did they know then that this new friendship would turn into a deep and lasting love.
Starting as friends, they continued on as roommates, fellow travelers, and now as a married couple!
Their June garden wedding was on the banks of the Schuykill River at Bartram’s Garden in Philadelphia. The garden was full of blooming flowers for their marriage ceremony but the most special handmade trees (Papertini) highlighted the alter, and later, the sweetheart table.
On the trees were flowing ribbons with loved ones’ names who were gone but not forgotten. The trees and gentle, floating ribbons framed the bride and groom as they were married.
It was a heartfelt marriage ceremony for lifelong friends – now, husband and wife.
Congratulations, Skylar and Tim!
